Judging
to begin at 11:30 a.m.
Regulations:
1.
Exhibitors must be members of the Wilberforce Agricultural Society.
Entry fee is 10% of Prize Money. Call 705-448-2683 for an
exhibitor’s number. Exhibitors under the age of 16 are subject to
entry fee stipulations.
2. This show has been sanctioned by the Canadian Goat
Society and their rules shall govern.
3. All tattoos and registration certificates will be checked. All
Goats must be registered with C.G.S. Only the original
certificate is acceptable for animals over the age of six (6)
months. Animals under the age of six months must have their
papers applied for and a copy of the application on hand on show
date. Base date for calculating the age of the animal to be shown
is Aug. 9, 2008
4. There will be no limit on the number of animals entered per class.
Exhibitors will be eligible for only 2 Prize Moneys per Class.
5. There will be no pre-show milk out. A doe with a hard,
distended udder will be disqualified at the discretion of the judge.
6. All animals will be health checked by a veterinarian. Goats,
which are not in good health will be disqualified. Any animal not
passing the health check cannot be shown and must be removed.
Animals must be on the grounds available for inspection by the
veterinarian not later than 10:30 a.m. Animals with horns will be
disqualified.
7. Exhibitors are requested to be neatly and appropriately attired when
showing their animals in the ring. White t-shirts and black
bottoms will be permitted. All exhibitors are required to
supply their own bedding material and feed.
